Earthquakes felt in Delhi NCR and North India

A 6.6-magnitude earthquake slammed the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan on 21-03-2023 night, sending strong vibrations to regions of north India, including Delhi-NCR. Around 10.20 p.m., a massive earthquake that shook northern India prompted terrified citizens to flee their homes. Haryana, Punjab, and Rajasthan all experienced severe tremors. No fatalities or property damage were reported right away.

According to estimates, the earthquake’s epicentre is 90 kilometres from Kalafgan in Afghanistan. The 6.8 magnitude earthquake reportedly struck Turkmenistan, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, China, Afghanistan, and Kyrgyzstan, among other nations.
