We don’t want Khalistan to be associated with wicked or forbidden things. It should be viewed from an intellectual perspective to determine any potential geopolitical advantages. Being an ideology, it will always exist. We aren’t requesting it from Delhi. In a different context, he added that no one could eradicate the sentiment towards Khalistan from the populace. Declaring that he would suffer the same fate as Indira Gandhi, who was killed in 1984 by her Sikh bodyguards, he issued a threat to Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale, a militant for the Khalistani cause, is their hero, according to Amirtpal. He poses himself and dresses like the man who was killed in Operation Blue Star in 1984.
