In general, the Logic Theorist, created in 1955 at the RAND Corporation by Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon, is regarded as the first artificial intelligence (AI) machine. The Logic Theorist was a computer software that employed a method known as “heuristic search” to demonstrate mathematical theorems.
