There should be celebrations because an Indian has won a global beauty competition once more. At a gala held in Las Vegas, Sargam Koushal of India was named Miss World. After 21 arduous years, she brought the crown back with the fullest grandeur.
With competitors from over 63 nations, Koushal’s victory is honourable and cause for celebration. Koushal defeated Mrs Polynesia to win the championship. The Jammu and Kashmir-born beauty queen previously worked as a teacher in Vizag. Her spouse is a member of the Indian Navy.
Koushal wore a sleek and elegant pink sleeveless gown studded with sequins for the grand finale. Designed by Bhawna Rao, the gown perfectly complimented Koushal’s toned silhouette. The Mrs India page also shared the priceless winning and crowning moment of Sargam Koushal.
- Ms Koushal is from Jammu and Kashmir and currently lives in Mumbai. She won the title after besting contestants from 63 countries.

- According to her Instagram posts, Ms Koushal holds a postgraduate degree in English Literature. She has previously worked as a teacher in Vizag. She has also shared that her husband works for the Navy.
