No-Shave November is an awareness-raising campaign celebrated every year around the world for embracing our hair, which many cancer patients lose, and letting it grow wild and free. Donate the money you regularly spend on shaving and grooming. No-Shave November is a month-long campaign during which people forgo shaving and grooming in order to evoke conversation and raise cancer awareness and to educate people about cancer prevention, save lives, and aid those fighting the battle.

Definition-Cancer is a generic term for a large group of diseases that can affect any part of the body. Other terms used are malignant tumours and neoplasms. One defining feature of cancer is the rapid creation of abnormal cells that grow beyond their usual boundaries, and which can then invade adjoining parts of the body and spread to other organs; the latter process is referred to as metastasis. The projected incidence of patients with cancer in India among males was 679,421 (94.1 per 100,000) and among females 712,758 (103.6 per 100,000) for the year 2020.

  • Around one-third of deaths from cancer are due to tobacco use, high body mass index, alcohol use, low fruit and vegetable intake, and lack of physical activity.

HOW TO EXECUTE THIS NOVEMBER

  1. Regular oiling and washing help you grow a healthy beard. Using a mild shampoo and conditioner as well as applying beard oil is mandatory to keep it naturally straight and smooth.
  2. Clean your hair twice a day and you must clean after a workout. If you don’t cleanse often enough, dirt, sweat, and even bacteria can accumulate on your face. In turn, this can lead to clogged pores that cause blemishes to occur.
  3. With a fine-tooth comb, you can make sure that your beard is perfectly symmetrical.
  4. trimming your hair regularly can help it grow stronger and longer, trimming your beard as needed is good practice.
  5. Don’t scratch, itch, or touch too often. Touching your beard or mustache too much can irritate your skin and trap dirt and debris from your hands. It can also result in breakouts.
  6. For a healthy, you need to change your dietary habits, if you want a naturally soft beard on your face. Regular intake of protein and vitamins help in blocking a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
