The Thomas Cup, also known as the World Men’s Team Championships, is an international badminton tournament held every two years between teams representing member countries of the Badminton World Federation (BWF), the sport’s regulatory body. Since 1982, the championships have been held every two years.

Thomas and Uber Cup is the biennial international badminton championship contested by the men’s and women’s national teams.

This event is participated by 16 nation team.

This Championship trophy is dominated by only 5 nations that are China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and Denmark. India became only the sixth country ever to break into this elite club.

India has defeated the 14-time champions Indonesia by 3-0. This Championship was held in Bangkok (Thailand).
